Connectivity & Cyber

Starlink changed ship communications. Running it well on a working vessel is a different job — that is ours.

The five things that go wrong

Our approach: a managed ship network

Remote support platform

Cloud-based monitoring of the router, every WAN link, users and data — with alerts. Our engineers see the ship's network the way the ship does, and act before you need to call.

Multiple links, one policy

Dual-WAN Starlink + backup, with 5G by physical SIM or eSIM pushed remotely, plus OneWeb, Iridium Certus, VSAT or FBB where fitted. Routing and priorities are set per link and per business.

Network and user policies

Separate networks for business, ship systems and crew. Quotas per package, whitelists, time-of-day rules, and business traffic always first (QoS).

Security built in

Firewall with deep packet inspection, intrusion detection/prevention, DoS protection, malicious-site blocking and content control.

Crew internet platform

A simple account and voucher system for crew, kept away from ship business — see our crew portal.

Other systems on the same network

CCTV remote viewing, engine monitoring, chart updates, automatic logs and other systems join the same network with dedicated ports, deployed remotely.
