Starlink is the main link, not the only one. We fit the backup that suits the ship's trade and make the change-over automatic.
One management router watches every link. When the main link drops, or has to be switched off, traffic moves to the next link by itself — typically Starlink, then OneWeb, then 5G, then Iridium — and returns when the better link is back.
On the small links only essential business traffic is allowed, so a backup link never produces a surprise bill. We test the change-over at commissioning and can check it remotely afterwards.
Tell us the trading area and what is already on board — we recommend the links and price them.
