What we do

DeepSea Electronics is a boutique marine electronics company based in Singapore. We believe a ship should have internet as good as an office ashore: fast, secure and simple to use.

Starlink is the main link. Behind it we add the backup that suits the ship's trade: 5G near shore, OneWeb, Iridium or VSAT. When one link drops, or Starlink has to be switched off, the ship moves to the next link by itself.

On board we build a proper network with professional hardware: a management router that picks the best link, a firewall, switches and Wi-Fi access points for the bridge, the ship office, the engine room and the crew cabins. Business and crew traffic are kept apart.

We keep it running with remote monitoring and on-board attendance, and support the people who use it — from the bridge to the crew cabins.
